Create and delete the App Password from the Additional Security  verification Page:

You can create and delete app passwords from the Additional security verification page for your Office outlook account

1. Open your Chrome Browser and login your office365 Mail ID.
   
2. Sign in to the Additional security verification page, and then select App Passwords.
   

3. Select Create, type the name of the app that requires the app password, and then select Next.
   

4. Copy the password from the Your app password page, and then select Close.
   

5. On the App passwords page, make sure your created password is listed.
   

6. You Should only have to do this once per app.
   

Configuring the outlook Application:

1. Open Your Outlook application in your laptop and type your Email ID and then click connect.

2. Paste the 16 digits password generated in App password page. And confirm that you clicked Remember my credentials checkbox to avoid recreate the New password in App password page
   

3. Your Outlook application will be configured, and you start receiving all the Emails.
   

Outlook Application Login Issue:

1. If you are getting below error to login in Outlook Application
   

2. Search for Credential manager in your Laptop and open the credential manager, in that select the Window credentials.
   

3. Remove the all the credential placed in Generic credentials and outlook.office365.com
   
4. The issue is resolved and try to login again.
   

To delete an app password using the App passwords page

1. On the App passwords page, select Delete next to the app password you want to delete.
   

2. Select Yes to confirm you want to delete the password, and then select Close.
   

The app password is successfully deleted.

Create and delete app passwords using the Office 365 portal.

If you use two-step verification with your Mail account and your Microsoft 365 apps, you can create and delete your app passwords using the Office 365 portal.

To create app passwords using the Office 365 portal

1. Sign into your work office 365 account, go to the My account page, and select Security info.
   

2. Select Add method, choose App password from the dropdown list, and then click Add.
   

3. Enter a name for the app password, and then select Next.
   

4. Copy the password from the App password page, and then select Done.
   

5. On the Security info page, make sure your app password is listed.
   

To delete app passwords using the Security info page

1. On the Security info page, select Delete next to the app password you want to delete.
   

2. Select Ok in the confirmation box.
   

The app password is successfully deleted.
